- Yangon (Rangoon)
The capitol of Myanmar is definitely worth a visit. Highlights are the gorgeous Shwedagon Paya, the Kandawgyi Lake and the old center around the Sula Pagoda.
- Golden Rock (Mount Kyaikhtiyo)
The amazing Golden Rock on Mount Kyaikhtio is one of the "Big Four" in Myanmar and despite the many pilgrims and tourists a Must see.

Inle Lake
Beautiful Inle Lake is not only famous for the leg-rowing fishermen of the Intha tribe. It also offers dozens of unique motifs and photo opportunities. Other highlights are the stilt house villages and floating gardens, as well as Indein with its ruined pagodas.

Mandalay
The ancient royal city of Mandalay offers a good base for exploring the nearby highlights like Amarapura with the unique U Bein Bridge, Sagaing and Inwa.

Bagan
For most visitors, the famous temples of Bagan are the ultimate Myanmar highlight. Although often compared with Angkor in Cambodia, the pagodas of Bagan are totally different in style and construction. At sunrise and sunset Bagan reveils its true beauty.

To get in contact with the friendly, open-hearted and inquisitive people of Myanmar was always a huge pleasure for me and one of the true highlights of my Burma trip.
